The Basilisa collection combines geometric forms with intricate lattice inspired by solihiya woven rattan designs, combining a delicate look with a firm sense of fortitude. Made with kiln-dried mahogany & rattan, each piece comprises five different weaves used to represent the different regions of the Filipino archipelago. Says Ito Kish, the designer of this award-winning collection, “My design will always be about who I am and where I come from.”
